A haunting song done by the Alan Parsons Project a few decades ago apparently comes to life in the picture below, thanks to Ed Henry. In actuality, it is a shot of the Helix Nebula, a dying star in the constellation Aquarius, only several hundred light years away...fairly close in the grand scheme of things, even in relationship to the Milky Way Galaxy. The faint white dot (iris) at the center is actually the star in question, which is shedding off the material creating the nebula's effect...
